I'm a registered CPA, mom and absolute dog lover!
My goal is to help all businesses, large and small, and any individual when it comes to taxes, bookkeeping and all things numbers related!
Having started my business from the ground up, not only once but twice, I know the importance of having reliable people involved in your business and I'd love to be one for you!
I also love teaching tax basics and how to budget, providing assistance to youth and anything else needed for personal or business finances.

Dog rescue work
In May of 2022, I lost my constant companion and best friend of 15 years, Laceigh.
My whole life I have had a connection with and deep love for all animals. Losing Laceigh was devastating, and I truly thought I would never be whole again. A few months later, my daughter, who had just recently lost her beautiful dog, approached me about fostering through a local rescue. I had no idea how much this would impact me and how it would shape the coming months.
In July of 2022, we took in our first fosters. They came from Manitoba where there is a serious issue with strays and with no laws in place to protect them, they are left
stranded, hungry and for many months of the year, freezing. From this day on, my family and K. McLaren, CPA Ltd. has supported Heart and Soul Dog and Cat Rescue based in Abbotsford, BC. Through them, we have fostered numerous animals, volunteer time to help transport animals and support the rescue in any way we can. Look at these faces we have been able to help!
By August of 2022, I had foster failed. I adopted one of the first pups we helped rescue. Her name is Skye and she is living her best life now with me, my family and her brother Kylo who my daughter adopted.
